Simone is a Psychologist and Therapist at the clinic. She is a doctoral candidate (Psy.D Clinical Psychology) and has a background in BSc Psychology and Masters (Counselling). Prior to joining Therapy and Beyond, she was a psychologist at a Psychiatric Nursing Home situated at Institute of Mental Health.

Simone works with patients in psychiatric settings as a psychologist. In the psychiatric clinic, she loves engaging with patients while providing counselling/therapy for various patients. She is prefers to conduct therapy work in various therapeutic models (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) with her clients.

Simone assists a senior consultant psychiatrist with administering psychoeducational assessments for children, youths and adults such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties.

Simone has underwent additional training for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Beck’s Institute) and Gottman Methods Couple Therapy (1 & 2).

Outside of her professional life, Simone enjoys mentoring students and doing expressive art in her free time.
